About Potters of Barnsley, Wholesale & Retail Butchers

We would like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves, and to give you an insight into the wide range of quality products, which we supply to food establishments in the Yorkshire Region.

We are a Barnsley based, family run business and have been trading in a wholesale and retail capacity since 1985.

Business growth, particularly on the wholesale and manufacturing division, led to the formation of a new purpose built production unit in 1994.

From those premises, we operate as a registered Meat Products Plant under the guidance and approval of the local regulatory services. Our premises have been designed and operate an efficient work flow pattern, and our approved HACCP systems and procedures provide reassurance of food safety at all times.

We pride ourselves in the consistent quality of our products which include fresh and cooked meats, a tasty selection of sausages, a range of quality pies and pastries, traditional confectionery and savoury goods.

Deliveries are offered regionally on a regular basis, Monday to Friday, in our first class fleet of refrigerated vans, to many establishments including supermarkets, butchers shops, general dealers, canteens, hotels, nursing homes and catering establishments.

Alternatively customer orders may be collected from our premises, Mon to Fri, 6am to 4pm.

We are also happy to supply caterers for private parties and functions.

Furthermore we have our newly refurbished retail shop on the High Street of Wombwell.There we are happy to serve the general public with the full range of our products - open Mon to Fri, 6am to 4pm and Sat 6am to 3pm.

Our passion and pride in our products has rewarded us with positive recognition over the years, as we have won many awards for our products and for the company.
